More about Nescafe Coffee

Hallo readers!

In my last blog I give you some information about the product and the producer of Nescafe coffee. In this blog I will tell you more about the mission and vision of the producer and the product and competitors.

First of all, it is good to know why Nestle is producing and what they want to achieve in the future. Nestle likes to provide the customer with the best tasting, nutritious choices in a wide range of food and eating occasions and beverage categories. This is what Nestle want to do for their clients.

Nescafe is the market leader in the Dutch market, Nescafe has to do with three competitors called Lavazza, Buisman and Jacobs Douwe Egbert.
I did some research in the price and quality in from these brands there was not a huge different in the price compared with Nescafe Coffee. Nescafe uses the strategy high quality equal to high price. 50% of all the coffee is produces by Nescafe, because Nescafe is ahead with the technology they are the first in the market with changes in the product, Nescafe is a long time active in the market so the customer trust Nescafe and used to the taste.

These brands also producing coffee, I think coffee does not have a substitute good. Coffee is a hot drink and there are different kind of hot drinks for example thee, hot chocolate, espresso etc.

The Nescafe Coffee 200 grams already consists in the Dutch market and also in foreign countries. So you can scratch off Market penetration, market development. I think Nescafe have to invest in the exiting product, if they invest in the exiting product the product remains the best and Nescafe let his competitors back and give them not a change to kick his exiting product out of the market.
